Aya Kashima Stone

Aya was born in Osaka, Japan. After she gets BA at University of California Berkeley, she pursued MFA in Animation and Digital Arts at USC. Her most recent projects as a designer are the Pokemon feature film "Mewtwo strike back evolution" (2019) and "Tinpo" the preschool TV animation series.

Aya Kashima creates colorful artwork with themes of animals, girls and abstract shapes. She deconstructs her childhood memories, thoughts and unforgettable experiences in her art. By telling stories with images, she hopes the audience can find their childhood memory and share that warm feeling through her art.
